Making A Purchase Our online catalogue is divided into sections displayed on the left hand side of the screen. To see the sizes and colours in stock of a particular item click on "Click here for available sizes and more info ..." Click on "add to cart" then click on "confirm" to place the item in your shopping cart and continue shopping or "checkout now" to add the item to your cart and proceed to the checkout to complete your purchase. If you do not want to add the item to your shopping cart, click "cancel". If you would like more than one of an item, simply adjust the quantity before you click "confirm" or "checkout".

Our website shows only those items that are in stock and available for purchase. During busy periods, items may sell out before our website is updated with the latest availability. In these cases, we will contact you to offer alternative items or a refund.

We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Maestro and Electron. We do not currently accept American Express, Discover or Diners Club. If you are shopping from outside of the UK your credit/debit card issuer will perform a currency conversion into British Pounds Sterling. We currently do not accept PayPal or Nochex.

Routine security checks are undertaken on all orders to reduce fraud. In some cases, your order may be delayed while these checks are carried out or we may be required to request additional information from you. You will always be informed by email of any delay. To ensure the fastest possible service, please ensure that you enter the registered billing address for your credit or debit card correctly, even if you wish to have the order delivered to an alternate address.

We reserve the right to reject any order and provide a full refund. Due to high levels of fraud, orders from certain countries will automatically be rejected.

Placing an order indicates that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions of sale.

In some instances, items may be out of stock when your order is passed to our warehouse for fulfillment. Please note that a contract does not exist between us until your order is dispatched. We reserve the right to remove items from your order or provide alternatives as required, though we will endeavour to contact you by telephone in most cases, if we are unable to fill your order as placed. Where items are out of stock, a refund will be issued for the full value of those items prior to dispatch.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
Shipping And Handling A shipping charge is added to all orders. This charge is per order no matter how many items you select. Click HERE for full details of our shipping options. We offer standard and express options to most UK addresses. Most deliveries require a signature. Parcels cannot be left unattended, so if you are unable to sign for your parcel please provide an alternate delivery address, (for example, your work address or a friend) or provide instructions for your parcel to be left with a neighbour. If our courier cannot deliver your parcel, they will usually leave a card indicating how to get in touch with them to arrange an alternate delivery or collection.

Orders placed online before 2:00PM Monday to Friday will usually be dispatched on the same day. Orders placed after 2:00PM and orders placed by telephone will usually be dispatched on the next working day. Your confirmation email will indicate when your order will be delivered.

Our Standard shipping option applies to most areas of the UK, including Northern Irelands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Scottish highlands. Our Standard option is not available to the Channel Islands.

Our Express Next Working Day services operate Monday to Friday only and do not include weekends or bank holidays. Orders placed online on Thursday after 2:00PM with Express Next Working Day shipping will be delivered on the following Monday, or the next working day if it is a bank holiday. Express Saturday delivery is available to UK mainland addresses for an additional charge. Express services are availble to all parts of the UK, but offshore areas (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Highlands and Scilly Isles) are subject to a shipping surcharge. Express services to more remote parts of the United Kingdom take two working days.

If you provide special delivery instructions we will pass these onto our courier where possible. Please note that all deliveries require a signature, so an instruction to leave a parcel unattended (in a porch or garage for example) will not be passed to the courier. Our delivery drivers do not carry mobile telephones and cannot contact you to tell you when the delivery will take place. It is not possible to specify the exact delivery time - orders with Standard or Express Next Working Day shipping will be delivered between 7:00AM and 8:00PM. Next Working Day Before Noon and Next Working Day Before 10AM Express services are available for an additional charge to UK mainland addresses only. Some early morning services are not available to northern Scotland.

Our couriers will deliver to the address specified by the customer or to a neighbour as appropriate, but not necessarily to the named recipient - parcels can be signed for by any person at the delivery or a neighbouring address. If the parcel should be delivered only to the named recipient and not another person at the same or neighbouring address, please provide this information in your special delivery instructions.

If no-one is available to accept delivery of your parcel, the courier will leave a card indicating that delivery was attempted. The card will advise you to contact the courier's local depot to arrange an alternate delivery or to collect the parcel yourself. If you do not contact the courier within 4 working days, your parcel will be returned to us. If this occurs, a return and reshipping charge of £18 will be payable before we can send your parcel out again - this charge is imposed by the courier company and not The Big Ozzy Clothing Company. If you choose not to have your parcel sent out again, £13 will be deducted from your refund for the returned goods. Return and reshipping charges are higher for non UK mainland deliveries.

Where customers provide incomplete or inaccurate address details, orders may be delayed. Where customers do not provide an accurate or complete shipping address, order may be dispatched to the invoice address. Please ensure that all address information is entered accurately.

Due to high fuel costs, congestion charges and heavy surcharges to many parts of the UK, we subsidise the cost of shipping up to £14 per parcel in order to provide a high value service to our customers. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of the shipping subsidy from a customer's refund in cases of fraud, nuisance orders or where customers do not contact the courier company in regard to an undelivered parcel. We also reserve the right to reject an order or request an additional payment if the cost of shipping will be excessively high.

Accuracy of Content The Big Ozzy Clothing Company has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular that all products have been fairly described. The sizes, dimensions and weights given are approximate only. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Big Ozzy Clothing Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. The Big Ozzy Clothing Company shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will supply a suitable alternative or refund the cost of the out of stock item. An invoice will be included with your order and will list in detail the items that we have sent and that you have been charged for. In most cases, we do not back-order. Unfortunately, we cannot special order items.
Tax Charges 17.5% VAT is included in the displayed price of all items and shipping charges where applicable. For international orders where the sale is exempt from VAT, the VAT portion of the sale price will be used to off-set the high cost of shipping overseas. UK Customers not subject to VAT for whatever reason may reclaim any VAT paid directly from HM Customs and Excise - we are unable to offer a discout in lieu of VAT in these cases.
Credit Card Security All credit/debit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach HSBC, our payment processor. Your credit/debit card details are not transmitted to us - we simply receive notification of a successful payment from HSBC. Your credit/debit card details are not held in clear text on any web site. If you pass your credit/debit card details to us by telephone, post or email (not recommended), they will be destroyed when order processing is complete. We retain sufficient details to issue a refund if required, but not to initiate new charges on your card.
Guarantee Items may be returned to us within 14 days of dispatch if they are unsuitable providing they are returned unused and in their complete original packing including all labels, tags and strengtheners attached. Uunderwear, socks, singlets, swimwear, swimshorts, beachshorts, watershorts, ties, gloves and other items described on our website as non-returnable cannot be returned). If you believe that an item is faulty please email us at bigozzy@bigozzy.com with details of the fault. We will respond with return instructions. Faulty items should be returned to us within 28 days.

Ownership of Rights All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to The Big Ozzy Clothing Company. Any use of this website, its content or images, including copying or storing of any component thereof in whole or in part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.
Privacy Policy We does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on our website to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. We occassionally send emails of special offers or promotions to past customers - if you do not wish to receive such correspondence, please email us at bigozzy@bigozzy.com. We conform with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.

Where credit or debit card details are passed to us by telephone, post or fax, we destroy them as soon as your order has been processed. We retain sufficient details to be able to process a refund, if required, but we do not retain sufficient information to apply additional charges to your account.
Returns & Exchanges Policy
  1. All Products purchased from The Big Ozzy Clothing Company are backed by a 100% Guarantee. We will exchange, refund or replace if there is a fault and, in most cases, if the customer finds the garment unsuitable. Returned goods must be received by us in a sellable condition within 14 days from the date of despatch.
  2. To return goods, please complete in full and detach the right hand part of the Returns From included with your order and return with the goods to the address indicated. We strongly recommend that you obtain proof of posting as Big Ozzy will not be responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.
  3. If you would like to Exchange items, please complete details of the replacement items that you would like on the Returns Form. Also include your credit/debit card details to cover the cost of shipping. You may also include a cheque or postal order for shipping if you prefer. Upon receipt of your returned items and payment for shipping we will dispatch replacements and confirm your replacement order by email. If your replacement items are out of stock, we will contact you by email and/or telephone to offer alternatives. Your credit/debit card will not be charged until your replacement items are ready for dispatch.
  4. If you request replacement items that are more expensive than those returned, we will charge the difference to your credit/debit card. If you request replacement items that are less expensive than those returned, we will refund the difference to the credit/debit card used to place the original order (after subtracting the cost of shipping your replacement items)
  5. If you believe that an item is faulty or has been sent in error please email us at bigozzy@bigozzy.com with details of the fault or mistake. We will provide return instructions. Upon receipt of faulty or incorrectly dispatched items, we will refund your actual return postage cost (up to the standard Royal Mail First Class cost) and dispatch a replacement free of charge. Postage will not be refunded for international orders under any circumstances.
  6. Items returned to Big Ozzy because the customer ordered the wrong size or for any reason other than those quoted above, will be refunded but the cost of return postage will be borne by the customer.
  7. All goods must be returned in sellable condition in their complete original packaging with all original labels and tags attached. For hygiene reasons, underwear, socks, singlets, boxer shorts, briefs, trunks, beach shorts, swimwear and swim shorts cannot be returned (even if they have not been tried on).
  8. Display packed products (including dress shirts) cannot be refunded if labels, tags, strengtheners, bags or packaging are missing or if the product is badly creased or poorly repackaged. We will not accept goods which have been screwed-up and stuffed into a bag. Please repackage items carefully.
  9. Suits cannot be returned if sewn pockets have been opened or sewn-on labels have been removed.
  10. Ties, bow ties, cummerbunds and dress gloves cannot be returned.
  11. Extra care must be taken with Leather and Designer goods which should be packaged well to avoid damage in transit. Damaged goods will not be accepted for return.
  12. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of £5 or 10% of the item's price (whichever is higher) per item where customers order the same item in multiple sizes with the intention of returning those that do not fit - please contact us prior to ordering for advice about sizes. We are happy to help and offer guidance.
  13. Gift certificates cannot be returned.
  14. If you believe that an item is faulty, please contact us before returning the item as it may not always be possible to exchange or refund in the case of a faulty item. If an item develops a fault after you have had it for more than 28 days, then it is unlikely that it can be returned.
  15. Where returned products cannot be accepted by us, they will be returned to the customer upon receipt by us of the cost of return postage. Where customers do not wish items to be returned to them, they will be donated to charity or destroyed within 14 days as appropriate.
  16. Refunds to credit cards will normally be applied within 10 working days of our receipt of returned goods. Customers will be notified of the refund via e-Mail.

Extended Christmas Returns Period 2008
Orders placed between November 1, 2008 and December 24, 2008 may be returned for Exchange or Refund as long as we receive returned items no later than January 4, 2009. Items that arrive after January 4th may receive a credit note or will be returned to the customer depending upon the items concerned and the individual circumstances. Items received after January 10th will not be accepted for return under any circumstances. All other parts of our Returns Policy (above) remain in effect and your statutory rights are not affected. Discounts & Special Offers
Where we offer discounts, free gift certficates, free products or free shipping offers and the discount is triggered by a particular spend level or purchasing a specific combination of products and items are returned such that the value of the order is reduced to less than the spend level or changes the combination of products required for the offer, then the value of the discount, free gift certifcates or free products will be deducted from any refund provided. In the case of free or discounted shipping, depending upon the delivery address and service selected, the discount may be less than the actual cost of shipping. However, a consistent discount will be applied to all customer orders meeting the conditions of the offer. Discounts and special offers may be withdrawn at any time and will be valid for a specific time only. Orders placed outside the time limits of a discount or special offer are not eligible.
